One of my favorite, more recent movies of hers was MOTHER. She and Albert Brooks were sooo hilarious together.:-) If you haven't seen it, PLEASE do! RIP, with Carrie, Debbie. You are both badly missed. :-(

I love that movie.
Debbie Reynolds was terrific in that film.
Love that movie. I was just telling people about it last week because my mother-in-law, like many older people, freezes every kind of food. It reminds me of Debbie Reynolds in the movie always pulling food, including iceberg lettuce and cheese, out of the freezer. Bizarre coincidence that I would just be talking about the movie.
shareI love this movie as well... reminds me a tad of my Mom. Her sister got voice lessons, Mom didnt, and so I didn't either.
But I loved her so!
After all these years, we still make references to the "protective ice" on freezer foodstuffs. That is the sign of a memorable movie.
