Agnes Moorehead

There were always rumors about their close friendship.

Did either of them ever confirm anything?

Well, Debbie denied that it was anything more than friendship – so I see little reason not to take her at her word, considering how she also professed her faith to be such an important part of her life (and anyone who is a member of the Nazarene denomination usually wouldn't go the homosexual route I don't think).

But if there was something more, we will probably find it out in a tell-all book in the future. It definitely wouldn't have been exposed while she was living, that's for sure!

Please excuse typos/funny wording; I use speech-recognition that doesn't always recognize!

Oh, stop! To even suggest that Debbie Reynolds had any lesbian feelings for another woman, is nothing but tawdry gossip. I think it was DR who said in an interview that Agnes Moorhead was not a lesbian, and I believe her. Why that rumor about Moorhead got started, and has taken a life of it's own, is beyond me. She was a Christian woman who had been married and had a child.
