Debbie Reynolds got her Oscar nomination for the movie version of The Unsinkable Molly Brown. She died December 28, 2016 at the age of 84.

Bernard Fox played Frederick Fleet in A Night To Remember and then portrayed Col. Archibald Gracie in the '97 Titanic. He died December 14, 2016 at the age of 89.

Tammy Grimes won a Tony for portraying Molly Brown in the musical, The Unsinkable Molly Brown. She died October 30th 2016, at the age of 82.

Yes, but also three people in their eighties.

I think that is a brilliant observation. For their passings to all be within basically two months is vividly noteworthy.
