For everyone who keeps saying "Can 2016 possibly get any worse?"
… Of course it can! So stop asking!
Unless you just want to see how bad things can possibly get, like some sort of betting game, then quit asking this asinine question! Because the answer is always – things can always get worse. So, it's better not to even think about it… Otherwise, it's like you're trying to hurry it along. Food for thought.
Also, just FYI – people die every year! It's become popular this year because of politics (and Trump haters), to say that 2016 is the worst year ever, but that is simply not true. Every year is the worst, when someone we love dies. It happens all the time, every day, every month, every year. It's sad. But it happens.
On another note, in the midst of the grief and the exaggerated statements, people are seeming to overlook the beauty of the tragedy. There is a light – there is a silver lining. And that is the love that Debbie and Carrie had between each other. The love that that whole family shared. How many of us can say that we know a love like that? If you can, you're lucky.
It's sad that anyone would have to live with that kind of grief, but it's also very very lucky that they got to live knowing that kind of love as well. Let's not forget that.
Please excuse typos/funny wording; I use speech-recognition that doesn't always recognize!
