The West Wing.

Did anyone watch The West Wing with Teri playing Jimmy Smits' wife?

She still looks pretty -- better than at the Focker premiere or in the movie -- but she could use a couple pounds on her, especially in the face because it looks slightly manly (a la Jennifer Garner).

Since Bravo is re-running the "Santos/Vinick" episodes today, I just thought I'd comment and say I'm glad I didn't have to suffer through another season of her playing the new First Lady. Of all the many characters that have appeared on "The West Wing", Mrs. Santos was the least sympathetic, most unlikable person in the whole series...except for the assassins and kidnappers, of course.

She seemed incredibly selfish and oblivious to anyone's needs except for hers and her children's. Mrs. Santos seemed unable to contain her irritation that she had to share her husband with the country, though as a Congressman's wife, she certainly had to have known what she was in for, public service and all. All in all, a loathsome woman! She should have married an accountant, and spared the people this National Shrew.

If Teri intentionally played her as unlikable, all I can say is....good job!

i liked her in the west wing. she was a woman who wasn't sure if she wanted to be in the national spotlight, and sacrificed her desires in order to let her husband do it.

then again, i just noticed that she was also rebecca in sports night. it was the voice that reminded when i was rewatching sports night.

For some reason, Teri Polo has not appeal to me at all. I am also watching West Wing reruns on Bravo, and find her cold; also no chemistry with Jimmy Smits. I was a big fan of Northern Exposure, and remember her from that series too. Once again, she was miscast and had no appeal. I just don't get it, and would love to see her in a role that fits her.
