I cannot believe this, I heard rumors that the Hodes' family would be out of the sixth season, but I thought they were too important to be left out. I'm not sure about the rest of the family, but I'm sad to see Elizabeth Perkins go. She was a great character for the show. Any details on why she is gone?

I love Elizabeth Perkins-- Celia is one of the greatest characters and best roles that EP has ever had! I hope that they don't kill her off... she is just a great character!

shareCelia was great in Seasons 1 through 3. Actually Celia was my favorite character. However, in the last 2 seasons her character has been unintentionally degraded and I feel like they've just been keeping her on board because of the great talent that is Elizabeth Perkins. Basically Celia's role and purpose on the show in Seasons 4 & 5 has been virtually pointless. I think that they should have written Celia out of the show after Season 3 like they did with Conrad & Helia. I loved Conrad & Helia as well but they wouldn't have fit in the settings of Season 4 or 5 - and neither did Celia. They just kept her on because of the fact that she gave the show so much press (not to mention Elizabeth was nominated 3 times for Best Supporting Actress at the Emmy's for her role in the show). Its been long overdue for Celia to go sadly. I thought Season 4 was ok, but Season 5 was the worse season so far in the series. Hopefully Season 6 will spice things up again.
shareI have a very mixed feeling on this. Yes I hated the character Celia, but she added something I have not saw since Marcie on Married With Children. And that is a character you love to hate. Celia has made Weeds what it is. Her feuds/relationship with all the characters, how she is a constant b!tch, she always ruins what people have good going on. She's been that constant factor in the show. I think she will be brought back. I did think the whole making her a Nancy clone/drug dealer was very stupid. I'd rather see her become a full blown lesbian and get rejected by the lesbian community too, just to enjoy seeing her miserable.
