shareShe's currently acting on a new Showtime drama series called Your Honor starring Bryan Cranston---the second and final season just came out a few months back. I've liked her pretty much since Do The Right Thing, and think she's a really good actress, and always fun as hell to watch, no matter what she's in. Here's an article which gives her some props for being a proud representative of Latina women onscreen: https://www.popsugar.com/latina/rosie-perez-afro-latina-representation-48699139
Here's another good article about her from years ago, when her memoir---I forgot she'd written one--came out: https://www.cnn.com/2014/04/01/living/rosie-perez-memoir-identity/index.html
Here's another couple of articles about Ms. Rosie---she specifically talks in this interview from last year about how difficult it was for her to find non-stereotypical roles as a Latina actress starting out in the movie biz, and her difficult childhood:

In this 2020 interview, Perez lets it all hang out about the sexism and racism she had to deal with early on starting out in the biz, surviving her messed-up childhood and gradually having to come to terms with how it really affected her life; dealing with age, and other things. She's always kept it real and spoken frankly about whatever subject she discusses, which is why her interviews, like this one, are usually entertaining as hell to read: https://www.theguardian.com/film/2022/may/18/every-guy-was-hitting-on-me-actor-rosie-perez-on-botox-boxing-and-the-casting-couch
