He is just finishing up the SWAT movie...my wife and I sat next to him at a little pub in downtown Detroit. Cool guy...very friendly, down to earth, very gracious and appreciative to everybody who recognized him. Everybody was saying that's the "Terminator" guy...but he's done some really good work since then (Copland, The Unit).

Just watched a segment 4 did on the film ("Swat: Firefight"), they spoke to Robert but only aired a small portion of the interview, the reporter doing the segment on set didn't even know his name, as she referered to him as "the actor we spoke to", what's up with that! Your right in that the high profile Terminator 2 wasn't his only good film what with Copland, which imho he stole the film from DeNiro, Keitel, Stallone, and Liotta. Also he made Col. Tom Ryan in The Unit the ultimate authority figure. Love him in a lot of the low budget films he'd done as well, great actor.
shareI just met him, too! He was out here in South Dakota for the Sturigs Motorcycle Rally! I work at a tourist-related restaurant and he came in for lunch. He was really gracious and welcoming! He signed autographs and took pictures for anyone who asked! Great guy!

I met RP at the 2009 St Patty's Day Parade in download LA. He was VERY nice and took a picture with my group (X-Files fans). He was very down to the earth, overall great guy from what I could tell.
shareMy Mom just saw him in church in Georgia and said everyone was buzzing about him but he was still gracious and approachable. It's cool folks like that still exist.
shareI've never met him before, but he seems to be a very humble and gracious guy. He has an "everyman" quality to him that makes him seem like a regular Joe. I'd certainly love to go out for a beer with the man.

Interesting. I met him recently and thought the man was a dick. Maybe he doesn't like English people. He was really full of himself, charged $50 for an autograph and said words to the effect that as I was in Texas I should watch my back. Not someone I ever want to meet again.
