his role in 'House'

I've lost all respect for this guy after seeing him appear as Michael Tritter in "House."

The dude is a total ass in the show, and not only that, his acting isn't that good either. I really hated everything about his appearance - the storyline, his lines, his acting, his character, everything. Oh well. At least he's not still on the show.

If you watch the whole part with Tritter in it, when you first watch it, you totally hate him, but after you really think about it and watch his part again, you begin to respect his character because he changed House and actually saved House's life. I actually loved Tritter because of the way he stood up to House. The things he said really opened up how much him and House were alike which is why they hate each other so much! :D

No, I'm joining you both. I'm a House fan and I loved his role in the show. Everyone else just bows down to him but Tritter stood up to him. Was interesting to see the challenge. Like you said I wish they'd explained more background to him and carried the storyline maybe further.

I got to disagree, he is unbelivable, irritating and was only part of the series so the network could send a message out to america: drugs are bad, dont do drugs.
I find it strange that a police officer could take a months break from all his other cases so he could chase a doctor day and night, with no probable cause. He should have been fired from the police force long before he got House on the fake meds charge.
I cant see why his part should win an Emmy, badly acted and had no real (positive )impact on the series. He actually almost ruined the entire show.
If you want to see a simular role played good, i suggest you take a look at Forest whitaker playing Kavanaugh in The shield.

@Allicam, how can you say he changed House, have you seen the Episode when he is released from Jail? Nothing changed and House fooled everybody.

You can bitch all you want about the storyline, but DON'T dis his acting! I love House but seeing him being in his place by a character so similar to him was cool. "I think being around all these nurses has given you a false sense of your ability to intimidate." I loved that! It was like the Scofield Mahone face-off in Prison Break.

But anyway, let's not forget the character was NOT REAL, people.

If you hate him after watching him act in a role where he's a bad guy, then he did a good job as an actor.

I could not have said it better, elson.

On a side note, after seeing the way David and Hugh Laurie acted together on the show, I think it'd be cool to see them in a movie together. (Probably not likely to happen, though)

plus i gotta say morse stole some of the scenes where he was with hugh laurie, which I havent seen happen a lot much less a few times on that show. David Morse frickin rules every movie he's been in. Even something like 16 blocks where the only saving graces of the movie were Bruce Willis's and David Morse's acting.

What the hell did you do to your haaaand?
