Moreno's had a career for more than 60 years. "Institutional racism" has, therefore, hardly hindered her, if at all.

It's not just about 'having a career' - it's about typecasting in stereotypical parts... Perhaps she hasn't experienced it in a deleterious way, but other people have.

What would she have done if she hadn't been an actress? Worked in a supermarket? Been a secretary? Stayed in her home town and beat laundry on a rock? If her life is an example of The Man keeping a "woman of color" down, everybody should be so lucky. All her whining about her oppressed life is getting her a lot of attention, but it has become tiresome.
