Honestly I can't picture him in any kind of role today unless they ever decided to make another Ghostbusters or Honey I Shrunk The Kids movie. Roles for short nerdy guys with glasses just aren't really needed much.
shareHe can try any role he feels comfortable with. Seeing him drama or suspense roles would be interesting, I am not certain if he has done such films yet.

shareRick is a very capable actor. There are plenty of things he can do, both as an actor and voice work in movies.
shareSince he does have somewhat of a nerdy appearance, I could see him playing a college professor. The plot could revolve around him trying to find someone, years after the death of his wife. Sort of like a romantic comedy-drama. I wonder who could play his love interest? (Maybe someone like Anna Farris, perhaps?)
shareIt's kind of a shame he missed out on the Ghostbusters reboot. Murray, Akroyd, Hudson, Waever and Potts are all involved, so why not him?
