To Those Creeps Who Posted Negative Things About MTM...

...in the "Anyone ever meet her?" forum:

In the words of Humphrey Bogart, "The only thing that I owe to my public, is a good performance." Mary ALWAYS gave a good performance. I read ALL the crapola
about her in THAT forum, and it ALL sounds just like...well...crapola, to me.

NOTICE TO MITT ROMNEY: A BAD DAY FREELOADING, IS BETTER THAN A GOOD DAY AT WORK.

I was just looking at that thread. It seems like all the accounts of her there were either really good or really bad, nothing in between.

All of the bad accounts of her on that thread came from one particularly nasty poster who seemed to have a particularly childish ax to grind.

Exactly and there is footage on youtube that proves she is anything but mean to her fans, in early 2013 she came out to LA to film the Hot In Cleveland MTM reunion episode. At LAX airport she could barely walk they didn't have a wheelchair available so she was slowly walked through the airport with her husband propping her up. Before being helped into a waiting car she signed autographs for fans despite being nearly blind. That shows character and that she truly cares, despite her frail health stopped to interact with fans and sign photos.

She has always been a philanthropist. She has done a lot of work for the Humane Society. As the lead spokesman, she spent many years making a point of raising awareness of diabetes issues, as well as raising money for research.

Yes it's just rude and mean. I admire her charitable work. And I also sympathize with her heartache. She lost both her son and younger sister to such tragedies.

Yes of course she has aged. But her health issues contributed greatly. I remember reading how MTM regretted all the sun bathing she did in her youth.

Once when she was on TV one time someone remarked "how old" she had gotten and she didn't look like she did on the DVD Show.

Geez! When she was Laura she was a youthful, fresh-faced twentysomething. How many seventy-five year old women can compete with their twenty-five year old self?

One thin I don't envy actors for is how their life long aging is recorded on film for posterity. All sorts of mean comparisons are made. No wondeer they have plastic surgery.
