Rest in peace to a sweet lady, with a capital L!

Mary Tyler Moore will be missed. She was kind, loving, and a very sweet, conservative woman. People refer to her as a feminist icon, but the truth is, she rejected the feminist movement started by Gloria Steinem and I'm assuming didn't like the title of feminist. What she was, was a kindhearted lady who did her job, and did it well. When given the opportunity, Mary Tyler Moore refused to get political– something the "celebrities" of today could learn a lot from! (I'm looking at you, Meryl Streep!)

To those who think that every decent star has to be a liberal Obama supporter, I've got news for you – Mary Tyler Moore mainly voted Republican. She was also a fan of Sarah Palin and John McCain. So, unlike the angry stars of today, Mary shows us that a great LADY can be a conservative – and vote Republican!

There's a reason why Mary was so liked – she didn't go around shaming others who didn't believe like her. So since people seem to love calling her a "feminist icon," maybe the feminists of today should learn a little something from Mary – and stop being so angry, stop being so pushy, and learn to be a little nicer, a little friendlier... Surely the woman who could turn the world on with her smile would hope that others would do the same a little (or a lot) more often.

Rest in peace, dear Mary!

Please excuse typos/funny wording; I use speech-recognition that doesn't always recognize!

Whatever, I'm just sad to hear that she is gone. Thanks for the memories.
