Hi everyone. I first saw Natascha some time ago in "Surviving Picasso" when I was a huge Julianne Moore fan. I am now getting re-introduced to her through Californication and I absolutely adore her. She is such a refreshing actress to watch.

Anyway, I don't know really anything about her, but the first question for me that is quite obvious is about her name change. According to the IMDB her birth name is Natasha Taylor. I'm wondering why she changed the spelling of her first name. Is there some significance to that? And where does the name "McElhone" come from? Thanks a lot!

Taylor is her father's name who divorced her mum when she was little. She took McElhone (her mum's name) instead.

The name is Irish- I've got no idea what it means though!
