He ruins every film he's in. He simply can't act. I've never seen such a less convincing human being, he actually seems incapable of showing any kind of emotion.

My problem with him is that he is the same in every film. Although I did like him in Brothers and that role was quite a departure from just about everything else he has done.

shareMy theory, he is short, so other short men in Hollywood don't feel threatened by him, like at all, so that increases his chances. I'm sorta kidding. I don't like him and I really don't know enough about acting to say if he's well trained, etc. I just know when I like someone and when someone gets on my nerves. I agree with the OP, him getting lead roles is puzzling.
