John's accent?
Is it just me or does John have some type of accent? It's weird because it sounds kind of Europeanish, but on imdb, it says he was born in New York.

shareOf course John has an accent. Everyone does. It doesn't sound European, more like an American who has travelled quite a lot.
shareHe comes from a family well-versed in the theatre, his father especially. People in acting often develop different styles of speaking even in real life.

I totally agree, he does have the same kind of classiness and sophistication in his accent, on the same level as Dr. Frasier Crane. Sounds sexy, I bet he gets plenty if that's the way he really speaks.

SBMag, gayish? LOL. First of all, it's not about his voice; this thread is about his accent. Second, his voice is not the least bit gayish. Actually, it's more manly than many other voices, and you could see that especially when he talks in a commanding fashion.
