Looks just like J.K. Rowling!

I was watching a short documentary on J.K. Rowling today, and I wasn't even thinking about anything relating to this, but it suddenly popped into my head: Laura Linney could totally play her!

Biopics seem to do well (as well as the actors in them) when the subject has faced some sort of obstacle or difficulty in their life, and ones about authors seem to be pretty popular these days (Miss Potter, The Last Station, Capote, etc). Not only has Jo (Rowling) created one of the most popular phenomenons of modern times, but God knows she has faced financial, emotional and physical difficulty the whole time she was writing Harry Potter, and much longer before that. I smell biopic one of these days.

Laura Linney is also one of my favourite actresses. And even though I am fully aware that Jo is British and her story is "very English", I still believe that Laura could play her. Not only does she have a STRIKING resemblance to her, but her versatility and charm might even see her win that Oscar?

Anyway, just my two cents. Any thoughts?
