I already knew that Laura Linney is a fine actress,(pay no attention to the nasty mail) "The big C" made me fall in love with her. Cathy Jamison is a very smart, beautiful and eloquent character. Laura portrayal of Cathy makes me laugh and sad at the same time. It's been a while since a TV show made me feel anything. Wonderful job, Laura.
The entire production is great. It's a pleasure to watch and listen to the show, which I'll continue to follow.

This program has that effect on a personal level: I've always liked Laura Linney (Since the film "Primal Fear"), but "The Big "C" really made my mind focus!

agreed. it's funny how much a TV show could affect your feelings like The Big C does. i can't really think of any other shows that have made me that sad, even though sometimes laura is just off the mark of being brilliant.
