I love Laura. And think she's very talented.

But those commercials with Mary Louise Parker where the two are having a b**** off??? It's embarrassing. MLP is amazing at playing selfish and b****y.

Laura just looks like she should go give Teddy bears to babies. All her complaining about how much her life sucks? I don't buy her as sassy at all. She should be playing in a field of puppies or something...

Sassy is one of the best things she does. And I think you're just comparing the characters and not the actresses. Cathy is someone who's fairly reserved, her personality hasn't opened up the way Nancy has in 4 seasons.

But that's what makes her bitchiness pitch perfect. When someone so sweet looking turns on you, it hurts a little more.

She also plays a extraordinarily cruel b---- in The House of Mirth. What she does to Gillian Anderson's character is devastating. And she played the b---- of all b----es as the Marquise de Meurteil in Les Liaisons Dangereuses on Broadway.
