Seems Cloris was slightly dismissive towards RH near the end..

I watched an interview with her on Queen Latiffa and she was literally surprised when QL told her that she liked the show.
Cloris went 'Really? But it's so silly?' and there was another interview with her in the Annie awards where the interviewer congratulated her on the show and she said something like 'You really think it's funny? I only believed someone who's only 8 would find it funny' or something like that... In the same interview she was asked why she wanted to do 'The Croods' to that she replied 'The money!'
As much as I love her , I think she his terrible at interview and she his (Not purposely) disrespectful towards people who works in the films/Shows she his involved with. She seem simply money driven...

Very few actors do it for the great part, a lot do it for the check. Just most are not as to the point and blunt as Ms. Leachman.

I suspect acting is like any other job. You take what you can get and try to make a living. Most of us don't think about the money in our younger years and wake up over 50 one day and wish we had saved more. I hate going to work every day. I'm a computer programmer and do contract work now as many my age do. The money is good, but the jobs aren't always there. I don't plan on having to work at her age.

Just saw her on Johnny Carson. Late night syndication. The interview was dicy at first! Like you said, quite dismissive of points Carson was making.

I love Cloris but was disappointed when I happened to catch her on Celebrity Wife Swap. When she was with Pia Zadora's family, she was trying to force vegetarianism on them. If that's what you're into, that's fine, but don't force it on others.
