...with the fact that Friends isn't listed under KNOWN FOR on her IMDB page.

Yeah. IMBD stupidly tends to favor movies over TV in the "Known For" section. This has started to change recently but not for Lisa for some reason.

'Friends' is one of Lisa Kudrow's best pieces of work.

It's up to the artist which credit gets the 'know for' slot.
