Ernie Hudson is well known for his role in Ghostbusters. However, he has a smaller part in the movie than the other ghostbusters especially since he doesn't appear until about halfway through the movie. That's really too bad, they should've developed his character more. As a matter of fact, Winston is one of my favorite ghostbusters along with Peter. Since he didn't have as much screen time and development as the other ghostbusters, he comes across as just a token black character and I wonder if that's what they were intending him to be when they made the movie, a token black ghostbuster.

The role was intended for Eddie Murphy and would have been a lot bigger had Murphy not turned it down.

There's one scene in the movie that makes me cringe every time I watch GB. The jail scene.

Moments later when Carl the cop tells them the mayor wants to see them, it's like he forgot what he just said moments earlier. He should have stayed in jail, IMHO.
