On my way into work today, I came upon the end of this movie. I remembered that Ciaran was in it. I didn't get a chance to see him though.
Can anyone who has seen the movie(without giving too much away) tell me about his character? I know his name is Sir Danvers Carew but thats it.
Any information would be grand! Thanks in advance!
They replayed it this morning! So, I was able to catch a glimpse of Ciaran! He plays one of the clients at a brothel. He looked very nice and brilliant.

It's so funny that you wrote this post because I am watching The Tigers Tail with Ciaran right now and I looked him up to find some of his other work. I saw he was in Mary Reilley which I just saw the same day as you did (and again when they replayed it, WGN I believe) and wondered who his character was...then you wrote your 2nd post with the answer and I actually remember him from that scene! So wild that I was wondering the exact same thing and here you made a post about it! Great minds......

Ciaran is always amazing. He can capture your attention (or at least mine) in everything he does. He can be as gentle as a feather or as tough as nails. I just watch him this past weekend in Jane Eyre (1997 tv movie) and he showed such emotion. I don't know about you but he was the only thing I remembered most from Mary Reilly.

I apologize for my delayed response, email hasn't been working properly and I'm a bit behind! I personally thought The Tiger's Tail was a very good movie with a surprising plot twist. I did see it as both dramatic and a dark comedy, there are some great one liners! The reviews here are mixed so I guess it depends on how particular you get about movies, I for one LOVE them but do not mind a little blurb here and there enough to let it ruin a movie for me (example an actors accent like Kim Catrell's here, some said it was horrible, I thought it was fine) if there is a strong story. I can overlook something like that unless it's down right horrid! Ciaran is wonderful as usual...I can watch him in anything! If you did already see it, I hope you enjoyed it and if not, I hope you give it a try as it is worth it and then some in my eyes! Happy viewing!
