He doesn't seem to harbor any ill feelings towards her. And he said Katherine was a great to work with on set and that she's hilarious. Just more reinforcement that that one little comment was taken way, WAY too far by the media.

She never bashed Knocked Up, though. She said she loved making the movie but that she thought it was "a little sexist". That's it lol.
But yes, she did bash Grey's Anatomy by saying the writing wasn't up to Emmy standards. She was right, but it was still a bit harsh to express those feelings to the public. And no one has ever let her forget it

her career could use a hit again FAST. maybe going back on that show could help her. Or, she could show her naked body in a film.... just saying.

I don't think she'll ever get naked in a film, but she does need a big hit. She needs to fire her mother actually... the woman does not know how to manage her career. If Katherine could get in on an oscar-worthy movie instead of the fluff she does, she could get her career back on track.

Maybe, but she has a history of biting the hand that feeds her. And there's also the Issiah Washington thing....yeah, he was in the wrong, but she refused to let it go...she kept on hammering it and hammering it and hammering it and hammering it and REFUSED to let it go.
I think she's pretty talented and insanely gorgeous. But because of her history, I certainly wouldn't want to work with her on any sort of a project.

I've was one of the people that would defend Katherine here on imbd.com for the longest time, because even up to this date, I feel like her comments were taken way out of proportion. She said the movie was a little sexes, which is true and she explained why. She never said that she was treated badly in the film, nor that the film was bad, nor that the director was horrible to the woman in the cast or any of that. She just stated that the film in general favors the men, just as many chick flicks center around how woman are treated badly and men are jerks. it doesn't make a film bad, it's just the theme and feel of the movie.
As for Grey's, she won a year or two before she made those comments to a paparazzi. She was not working full time at Grey's and just because she was in a hit show and was favor to win if nominated, she stated that she retracted her nomination because she pretty much felt arrogant about it. You know, thinking that it would not be fair for the other actors in the same nomination. We all know that these awards typically win the awards to the people that they like or are paid to give the award to. She could of had kept her comments out of the media, though. Aside from that she had stuck by the writers during the writers strike, defending them and stuff, yet that was overlooked.
Now, back to the main subject, Katherine does have the tendency to hold on to "grudges" per say. Like with Washington, of which she constantly bashed him for calling her BFF a homophobic slur. Same with some directors that have made her and the rest of the cast work over 16 hour days and so on. She seems to highlight the negatives at times and is very outspoken. Karma is a b!tch, you could say. Maybe this is why the media and "haters" tend to hold on to the few little bad things she's said or done, because she's the same way when others make mistakes. Just saying... Still love her, though!
