Have you ever seen a star fall so fast?

Goes from doing big budget movies to a cold medicine commercial. Now she's doing tiny indies with nobodies. It pays to not be a bitch to everyone you work with. I guess nobody who is worth anything wants to work with her anymore. It's too bad because she has such a cute face and strong on screen charisma. She's that nerdy geeky girl who other girls can see themselves as but she's hot. She was the perfect romantic comedy girl.

You think she's the only actress/actor in Hollywood with an 'attitude'? Seriously, I think you'd find it hard to find one that didn't act like a bitch from time to time once they hit the big time! Most behaviour is kept out of the media for good reason, Heigl obviously pissed off the wrong people somewhere. I've never seen an actress so punished by the media!
However, she seems to be having the last laugh, she's happily married, has a beautiful home/family, has had a more successful career than majority of actresses in Hollywood and is still making movies and has just landed the lead in a new tv drama!

exactly. I like how people think her career is over because she did a zzzquil commercial and an indie film. She just did a movie with Robert De Niro earlier this year! Her upcoming movies have her working with Patrick Wilson and Will Arnett. She may have had to downgrade her salary due to not being as big of a box office draw anymore, but her career is far from dead. Haters gonna hate though.

Megan Fox fell just as fast if not faster and harder.

reply

no, megan fox was never a big star. she was in one hit movie as eye candy, that's it.

reply

Megan Fox didn't care to be a mega star, if she did she wouldn't have married Brian Austin Green.

Her career doesn't have to be over but there's no question she's failed to capitalize on her potential largely because of her real or perceived difficulty to work with as much as with her box office draw. De Niro isn't exactly at his prime, he's done some real bad films in the last two decades.

"Haters gonna hate". Maybe but it says quite a lot when those haters are people she's worked with on and off the set.

I think the problem was she went from a hit TV show to a hit film, then made a string of films that didn't do well.

You can't really be much of a movie star without hits (either financial, or critical), and her film just failed to produce.

It turns out the public wasn't really that enamored by her in films, at all. Her attitude would have been overlooked if those follow up films generateed reveunue or raves...but they didn't.

Seriously, doing anything with De Niro lately probably means you're in one of the worst movies of the year. De Niro is a joke now.

reply

I suppose the Queen of England is a joke now too. Just how much is someone supposed to do before they are not a joke to you?

Agree here 100%, Laspino.

The Hollywood "A" list for a woman is very difficult to make, even more difficult to remain on for any length of time. There's always some fresh new property on the way up-- younger and hotter.

Ms. Heigl had a very good chance at establishing herself as a major player in Hollywood but shot herself in the foot due to her attitude and behavior.

Now she's joined the ranks as one of those women actors who used to be a hot property but now have been regulated to the "B" list. Oh sure she'll have a career, perhaps even a lucrative one in terms of finances, but her ship to major stardom has sailed-- without her on it.
