Is her career in the . . . LITTERBOX??

I had to do a double-take!! I haven't really followed her career that closely since she left Grey's Anatomy . . . but I knew she left to do big screen movies. And I just now saw her on a cat litter commercial--WTH?

reply

I just did a double take as well. I couldn't believe it. And not even the top brand. Will no one really higher her?! It's she THAT bad to work with? Shame, she's only 37. I hope she gets her act together.

You stole my post but I would not have thought of the clever tagline! She really ruined her career with her attitude it's a shame.

reply

I thought I was seeing things. I thought I would be the first to say but everyone beat me to this. Not only is it a litter commercial but it's an off brand and it only airs late night. Jeez...

reply

Haha, great title. Glad to see others are saying the same thing I'm thinking too. Actors like Elizabeth Banks doing realtor.com or Tina Fey doing American Express are very different than Heigl doing a kitty litter ad! And she doesn't seem to be doing anything else. She burned her bridges, for sure.

reply

Well she has a new show on CBS with amazing cast (Dule Hill, Elliott Gold, Laverne Cox) and a movie with Rosario Dawson.
So she's doing OK.

reply

Yes...yes,it is.
Cats are crapping on the scripts that she's being offered.
Ms. Heigl was a mediocre actress who seems to have misjudged her appeal and her talent and decided to go "all in" on a Hollywood film career.
Unfortunately for her, she didn't have the cards for that kind of bet or the sense to stopping playing the game when it became clear that she wasn't winning.

She'll end up in minor roles in film and she may luck into another television series. However, unless she's willing to take "mom" roles or become a middle-aged actress who is not averse to nudity, it's more likely that she'll simply fade into the woodwork.

Bad films are a crime against humanity.
