Richard Harris' version is awful, messy, and goes on forever! Stick with the Donna Summer one! Or else that parody Weird Al did in the 90's called Jurassic Park.

One of the greatest songs ever. His version is pretty good, he was a wonderful singer.

Music preference can be very subjective. I know that "MacArthur Park" has received a lot of criticism over the years, but I like it. In fact, I have three versions on my IPod: the original by Richard Harris, the Donna Summer version and a version by Glen Campbell (no one can sing Jimmy Webb like Glen Campbell). I like all three and find them all entertaining.
