It's six, mate.
The only 2 shows he was actually in were Chicago Hope and St Elsewhere. The others were all guest appearances (max 4 episodes). JAG was as a pilot for NCIS, he played Gibbs in it.
He has had guest spots in plenty including things like Love Boat
Flamingo Road was recurring and he had two seasons of Reasonable Doubts. Wish that would come out on DVD and of course how can we forget 240 Robert.
