I just read that he was going to play Pvt. Joker, but it didn't work out. Damn shame. The Breakfast club portrayed him as so innocent that it would of really hit me to see him (Obviously not the same character, but still) fighting in Vietnam.
shareInteresting! I could never see him as a Private Joker - Just can't envision Hall attempting a John Wayne impression like Matthew Modine.
I come here a lot because it's a clean, well lighted place.
What fascinates me is that he was replaced by Matthew Modine as early as the summer of '85. In the March issue of Moviegoer, Hall was tipped to star but the June issue had Modine cited as his replacement.
