I just found out he was a member of SNL for a while. Is there anywhere I can watch some clips of it?

I have found a few on Youtube when I searched for Robert Downey Jr's clips, they were on together that year and performed many skits together.

Hulu.com has every episode of SNL, but you have to pay for their premium service; it's like $7.50/month, but you can get a trial run for one week free.
