I hadn't seen any pictures of him outwith his days as a teen actor and JESUS, it's not that he's gotten ugly, he just looks nothing like he used to.

shareWell back then he was 16 years old and even younger. He started acting when he was 8 years old. You can't expect a 41 year old to look anything like his teenage self.
I for one think he's getting better with age. I think he was cute in his teens, but now that he's in his forties he looks ten times more handsome.

shareHe grew/changed so much between his 1985 films (The Breakfast Club & Weird Science) and the 1990 film Edward Scissor Hands. Born in 1968, he was 16 while filming the former movies and 21 for the latter. During that time it's obvious he was frequenting the gym, and it looks like he had a growth spurt during that time too.
I remember not even recognizing him as the same actor back then.
