Poof that growing old really does suck

He has recently taken a bit role on an MTV show called Awkward and I did not recognize him at all. Didn't know it was even him until I read the credits. I cannot believe this man use to be the cute little redhead boy from The Breakfast Club and the funny geek from 16 Candles.

And he did not even look this old in The Dark Knight either. He looks 60 now. He basically lives off minimum wage bit parts now. He had the time of his life back when he was the most popular kid in cinema. Now look at him. I'm not making fun of him or bashing him- its just so sad. He use to be such a big star and was in some of the most acclaimed and most watched films of the 80s. Now he's relegated to straight to cable movies and looks incredibly old. Poof that growing old really does suck.

Oh, how ignorant. Ever heard of make up? He does not look that old in person. And he's working at what he loves, acting. Whether you like it or not. Don't watch if it pains you that much. Get over yourself.

LOL. Don't be mad because I'm telling the truth. Rob Lowe and Tom Cruise are both several years older than Hall yet they look much better.

Sorry but it's just the truth. I'm not a hater, just stating the truth. He looks old and tired. Google a recent pic of him.

It must hurt to read this if you are a big fan. But his career faltered now all he does is guest star in low rated cable shows.

And yes, it actually does pain me to see this once great potential star turn into this. Don't watch? I watch Awkward during the summer on MTV and he happened to guest star on an episode. As I said, I truly did not know it was even him until I read the freakin credits.

Unless you want to really argue he, Judd Nelson, and Molly Ringwald remain just as extremely popular and youthful looking like Tom Cruise...

Really? I knew it was him the instant I saw him. It made me really excited to see him in the show. He does look older, but all people age differently. And for the record, TV parts pay more than films do. I worked in television for 3 and a half years. I'd take TV jobs over film jobs any day. He was also the lead in The Dead Zone for five years, which is a great accomplishment.

'Lives off minimum wage'
Um. I bet he had made a fortune off of his earlier movies and live the rest of his life comfortably. But, like someone said before, he's doing what he loves doing. Give him a break

I googled his pics and I think that he looks better than ever.
