shareMaybe he feels he can live off his Austim Powers/ Family Guy success and the rest is "something he did for fun". If you look at the whole career of all the Robot Chicken alum, none of them have room to bash.
PS. I thought Rat Race was a riot.

Seth Green more so makes fun of franchises and fads than he does directly insulting celebrities. I'm one of the few people that watched the Family Guy commentaries with Green and there are a few times he points out how "arbitrarily mean" some of the jokes are for no reason. Of course he makes fun of celebs here and there, but he's apparently a really nice guy that's clearly just having fun.
But yeah, no one's record is perfect. You have to hand it to Seth though, out of all the movies you listed only Josie and the Pussycats was a box office failure. All of the others were successes.
and he seems to be able to make fun of himself, too. i don't remember what interview it was, but i think he was making fun of infested, a crappy movie he was in years ago (never saw it, but he said it was crappy!)
i think he knows most of his movies are not exactly oscar-material ;) but like prawnexosuit said, most of them are successful.
and i'm not sure if you're talking about family guy or robot chicken, but as far as i know he's only in family guy and has nothing to do with the jokes :) AND just because your work is not always good doesn't mean you can't make fun of others! ;)

Oh yeah. On Robot Chicken there's a lot of jokes Seth does against himself. An entire segment was dedicated to how awful that movie Idle Hands was. Good stuff.
shareseth's a jerk. i LOVED idle hands
which season is this on? i think i didn't see that one!

It's in season 2. The parody is called Idle Nuts but I don't remember the name of the episode. Let me Google it :P

Have you seen the Family Guy: Its a trap episode yet?
He gets mercilessly roasted in that episode.
So he's obviously able to take what he dishes out.

thanks, prawn! :) if it's in season 2 i should've seen it, i have the DVDs at home... probably just forgot about it! i'll rewatch it soon :D
i'll have to catch up on the family guy: it's a trap show, too! i'm pretty sure i haven't seen it but i guess i'll have a good laugh tonight! :) thanks!
and one think i'd like to add to the topic: not only does he make fun of himself, i think he also makes fun of movies and shows he actually likes. i don't know about you guys, but i love it when something i like is being made fun of (if it's actually funny - and both family guy and robot chicken are!)
the people made fun of probably laugh about it, that's part of being in movies/tv shows ;)
