Remember when she had 6 movies on the brink of release? Those were the days.

She did an interview with E News recently about Foodstirs and talked about how she was "taking a break" from acting. Not a single mention about Cruel Intentions, so it's safe to say that one is dead.

I just hope she signs on to another pilot at the beginning of 2017. It's almost been a year since she first announced her return to Cruel tv....

Here's the E News clip if anyone is interested: https://youtu.be/6NWkOUAt3Is

It is safe to say she is done with acting. Her last 3 roles were for fun and working with friends.

I believe The Crazy Ones killed her interest. There was an interview with David Kelley where he said CBS had no interest in making it good, that they wanted people to tune in and zone out. If you couple that with all the Cruel Intentions drama, it would be little wonder if she did quit.

I get the feeling that SMG's been done with acting for quite a while now.

The same can be said for DB now as well despite all the success he had with Bones.

She confirmed 2 weeks ago (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6NWkOUAt3Is) that it was just a break, she hasn't given up on acting. Plus she wouldn't have bothered with Cruel Intentions if she had given up.

No offense but are you really that naive?

She is good friends with the writer/director, the same guy who directed the episode of Those Who Can't she made a rare cameo in.

She will not come out and say she quit. That would get headlines. It also might backfire if she changes her mind later. However in terms of pursuing roles, I think she's done with it. Too much disappointment with an industry in shambles.

Taking a break from what? She's done roughly 12 days of filming in 2 1/2 years.

Industry in shambles? The movie side of the business has probably never been worse for actresses of a certain age considering the type of films being made. However, there were 455 scripted TV shows produced in 2016 http://tvline.com/2016/12/21/peak-tv-2016-total-455-scripted-series-chart/ and actresses like Reese Witherspoon and Nicole Kidman are coming to TV thanks to chance to do quality work that they cant consistently find on the big screen.
