SMG along with the rest of the cast are all far too old to play those characters now.

Saying they're all "far too old" is a bit ridiculous. They are OLDER but none of them would be considered old. Not only that, but the characters would be older too so it would only make sense for the actors to be older.
However, I don't think it's a good idea story wise.

Not just by "Hollywood Standards" but from a storyline perfective they're all considered "far too old" at this point to do a live continuation of the show.
Glad we both agree that it would be a bad idea though.
In hindsight if Joss was actually smart he probably should of done a Buffy movie right after the 3rd season while the show was still in it's prime.

They are "far too old" when you look back at the show's tone not to mention the older the characters got the worse it became and a lot had to do with the fact that they were no longer playing teenagers anymore.
