I cannot even begin to express my frustrations with IMDb's decision to disable all message boards on February 20, 2017.

This was one-stop shop to date discuss all movies, films, and actors. It was a place for fans to connect globally. The industry benefits from the message boards because they foster a platform for fans to connect with one another, and it's also a word-of-mouth opportunity to get people talking about all projects.

I can only imagine how much traffic will be lost on this site due to this poor decision.

Oh well. It was fun while it lasted... at least it didn't happen 10 years ago when SMG's board was alive and well.

it is really a strange feeling to know that the imdb boards won't be any longer in a few weeks... i've been here for 11 years and always loved to discuss old and new horror movies, SMG's career, buffy, etc. ... or even just read different opinions and arguments why someone rated a movie 10/10 or 1/10.

i am glad that i met some nice people on here (and am also glad that i have you on facebook ) and maybe there is some other imdb-ish site out there where one can discuss tv shows, movies, etc. with one another.

anyway, thanks and hopefully see you soon  
