NO POSTS ON GARBO?

ya gotta be kidding........

has anyone ever seen any of her movies? which one/s????

Years ago, a friend of mine was a drama student and studied acting in NYC......one day a friend of his went for an audition, so he and another buddy went with him.....

When they came out of the audition, his friends wanted him to join them for lunch, but he couldn't as he had to go home to get ready for work.

Wellllllllll early next morning the phone rang......."JOHN! JOHN!' it was his buddy.
'GUESS WHO WE SAW RIGHT AFTER YOU LEFT!!!"

' don't tell me, I know.....GARBO, right?".

YEP... he said they followed her for a few blocks, keeping their distance, then got nervous and left her alone........seems that everyone knew who she was, but always respected her privacy.

there are many Garbo sighting stories,,,,,,,all of them fascinating!!

so I hope I"m not the ONLY ONE who write about her!!!!!!!!

I often find films and people with no posts, which I think is due to my liking for old films. But it does make me wonder how much was lost when IMDb shut their boards.
Also, you have to wonder if Garbo would be allowed to live privately these days. I suspect she'd be constantly stalked by bottom feeding elements of print and on-line media plus any idiot who wanted to boost their profile and follower count.

A lot was lost. Especially about individual films, classic films(and actors/actresses) especially.

Oh well.

Greta Garbo was a gorgeous woman.

I was heartbroken when IMDB shut their boards. So much was lost about the older stars. As I recall, there was a lot of discussion about Garbo.
