It's sad to me that some idiots on the nymphomaniac IMDB board are trashing Charlotte's looks. Who gives a flying *beep* if she is not a "conventional" beauty? To me, she is gorgeous and a superb actress.

My favorite comment was something about people "deluding themselves into thinking she's attractive". How the hell does that work? I suppose you can disagree about whether someone is attractive, but now you're telling ME that I don't really find her attractive?
I don't think she's QUITE as attractive as her mom (Jane Birkin) back in the day or her half-sister (Lou Doillon) simply because it's hard to genetically balance out the frog-like looks of her father Serg Gainsbourg, but then he had a strange kind of sex appeal that his daughter has obviously inherited. Whatever the case I think she is definitely the most talented ACTOR in her family.
Absolutely, that board is filled with nothing but haters. I am sure most of those people didn't even see the film. Lars made a social statement with that film and Charlotte was amazing in it.

Wow, she looks exactly like him with touches of her mother's femininity and beauty. Same haircut as her mother too, which I find sweet.
I've had a hardcore crush on her since I first saw her in "The Science of Sleep". She always looks a little unkempt, but she's so beautiful and alluring. And, I could listen to her voice forever.
