Too many drugs?
Hey all,
Peter is a great actor. Do any of you think from how he carries himself now that it looks like he did too many drugs?

I actually think that out of most people who came out of the 60s alive, he is the MOST level headed. I saw a show about drugs in Hollywood broke up by the decade. Many of the drugs (i.e. LSD) were legal back then so recreational use was very common, my mom even did speed (she though it was a diet pill). Pot seemed to be his drug of choice but hasn't done it since the mid 80s I think. I know some people who have read his book who think being married so long (30 years this November) and living in Montana are some of the things that keep him looking so good and being in such good spirits. He seems like a great guy to be around and I can't wait to see more of his older movies.
A side note: I have never heard of him being arrested for drug possession (like Dennis Hopper) or having to go into rehab 20 times (Robert Downey Jr.) so I guess I would not think drug use had any affected him that much.
Sounds reasonable.
shareThe preface of Peter Fonda's autobiography "Don't tell dad" says:
"In my memoir, I speak often of the different illegal drugs I've tried. I speak of them in the context of the times they were being used. I speak of them casually, but I know their casualties. Do not misunderstand me. I know their "casual use" has pushed many of my friends over the big edge. There are many people who can have just one marijuana cigarette and fall into the abyss of abuse. One "acid trip" from which some have never come back. I was lucky. I don't have an addictive personality. Many people do. You may lose it all."
I've done more drugs than that dude. You should see my picture...HUH!
You saying that kinda shows that you havnt...thanks for impressing us.

Oops I left out an apostrophe. Oh No! I'm so offended...I can't even get over it...How could you? HOW COULD YOU? I'm a wreck...I really am...I can't take this...just can't.
shareI have another answer to your question, MrsTorrance. A simpler one.
He`s getting older.
I `m about 15 years younger than him, but I know that I don`t carry myself the way I did in my younger days. I`m just not as agile., and it really has`nt got much to do with all the paryting I did in the 70`s....
You just get older.
