I don't really think they are that alike. But his voice reminds me of Humphrey Bogart. Just look at him as the grumpy Garret Macy in "Crossing Jordan" and the resemblance (not so much in looks but in voice and style) is quite remarkable. You could see him almost saying "I stick my neck out for nobody".

I thought they were one person til a few months ago!!
Came to IMDB to check both their profiles to see who was in what! lol

I loved Miguel in Crossing Jordan (there is something really hot about him even though I don't find him especially good looking.) I was watching I Love You Man and saw Simmons. I thought it might be Miguel- older or SOMETHING. Simmons doesn't have that 'hotness' that Miguel does but there is DEFINITELY a similarity between them.
