Is he sick?
in the current episode of NCIS Los Angeles, at the end he looks very very skinny like he is sick. Anyone know anything about it?

shareHe does not look healthy. His features are drawn and gaunt and the timbre of his voice has changed.
shareI have noticed this a lot over the last few weeks, and especially in last nights episode.
He has a huge growth on the right side if his face, right in front of his ear.
I HOPE I am wrong, but I suspect some sort of announcement will be made in the coming months.
I have been wondering the exact same thing. He looks so skinny and tired.
shareI thought I was the only on who thinks he does not look well, I hope he is ok, I have always liked him as an actor.
shareWow. My husband JUST said how thin he looked! We are just now catching up on this week's TV shows. So I went to IMDB to see if anything was there and I guess we are not alone in seeing how thin he has become. Hope he's ok ! I loved him on Crossing Jordan. I first did NOT like him on NCIS:LA, but now they've made him more like able ....
shareI came here for the same reason, i noticed it a few weeks ago.
But my explanation was; Mister Ferrer looked the same to me for 20 years, he's turning 60 in a few months, so i guess/ hope he's just getting older.
Or it's because he dyes his hair and eyebrows dark now.
I've just binge-watched the current season, and was noticing the same thing. As I type this, I am in the middle of watching the "In the Line of Duty" episode. I've just watched the scene where his character orders that a BOLO be put out on the two men from the videos, and as I was listening to him/watching his face I suddenly blurted out, "he's had a stroke!" And then clicked over to IMDB to see if it had been mentioned.
Obviously I could be wrong. But I was a paramedic for over a decade, plus have done a LOT of volunteering in nursing homes/critical care centers... so my brain assesses people's condition unconsciously all the time without my really noticing until something twigs. And for whatever reason, my brain (or my mouth, really) burst out with "stroke".
Of course, now I'm wanting to go back and re-watch all these recent episodes with a more focused and conscious eye. LOL
But whatever the cause, stroke or something else entirely, I hope he is well. I absolutely love Miguel Ferrer. He's such an amazingly talented guy and a real pleasure to watch perform. I'm actually really hoping this is a deliberate affect for his character, perhaps relating to the recent poisoning and some future impact that will have on his character. In any event, I just hope the actor is doing well. I've so much respect for him.
Additional comment - I just looked on NCIS:LA's forum. It seems there's quite a bit of speculation about Mr. Ferrer's health from a lot of people. So it's not just us noticing this. I'm really crossing my fingers that this is just good acting relating to the poisoning of the character.
Quaggan loves yoooooo!
I love him, too. If he's had a stroke and he's working. Maybe he is being treated and will be OK.
