You guys are sooooo funny! (I mean the young ones that just don't get Miguel's charm and magic). His father - who was way less attractive than Miguel - was one of Hollywood's most respected actors and a top box office draw. Women LOVED him. I kid you not!

Miguel's mother, Rosemary Clooney, was a singer with a Big Band in the 40's and the 50's. She was a Superstar. That's the equivalent of being Brittaney Spears today. Sexy and talented. She saw the Ferrer attraction that some of you obviously miss. I assume that's why Miguel and his brothers are all better looking than their father.

Yeah, Miguel may not be a mindless poster-boy but as you mature, you realize that sex appeal is skin deep. It's an attitude and a way of carrying onself. Miguel has it in spades. Believe me. That guy knocks my socks off in spite of the fact that he's not a pretty boy.

When I was in college, looks were most important. Looks STILL matter but by my 30's, I realized that intelligence was way more sexy than looks which fade. I mean, think about it, looks are a fluke. You have NO control over your looks and even if you're blessed with good looks, they're STILL going to fade anyway so you might as well focus on a quality that we can live with: that would be intelligence, honesty, character, courage, etc.

In other words, Miguel is a dream for the mature woman. A younger woman facinated with looks wouln't know what to do with him. I'm 2-1/2 years older than Miguel and went to high school with his sister-in-law.

Hey, don't knock all of the "young ones." I've found Miguel attractive - his talent AND his looks - for many years and I just turned 23. I also found his father pretty hot, too - when I was younger I'd watch Mel Brooks' "To Be or Not To Be" and swoon myself silly.
