I just saw a Johnny Carson interview with Bette Davis, where she had no issues bashing FD:

I just heard another interview a few weeks ago where she was trashed also. I guess she was a real pain in the ass to work with.

I think it was either on the set of Towering Inferno or Network where Dunaway's tardiness got so bad that William Holden had to ream her out for it.

What a shame that she didn't appreciate her stardom. Not everyone got to be lucky enough to work with a legend like Holden or all the other A Listers in Network or Inferno. If I had been that lucky, I would've been too star struck to be late.

I think Holden set her straight on Inferno and they worked together better in Network, if I remember right.
