She looks fabulous! I bet her singing was fine...it's not an incredibly difficult score, like "Candide" or anything.

I think they blamed the dismissal on her singing when actually the L.A. Production had basically played itself out through Glenn Close's run. They shouldn't have put ANYONE new into the cast, and when Dunaway didn't bring in the advance ticket sales they expected, they just shut down the show and claimed the problem was her voice.

Obviously, they didn't understand...What they were REALLY DOING was denying the fanboys the opportunity to have a WONDERFUL and ADVANTAGED experience!

How sad that is.

Miss Dunaway's notorious reputation for diva behavior probably didn't help much either. L.A. Theatre Productions don't go for boooooze and dope so they drummed her right outta Hollywood.

Now outta ma way, I've gotta man waitin' for me!

P.S. She does look great, though.
