This Section Has Left Out The Terminator From Movies Based On The Works Of Phil Dick.

The Terminator CLEARLY has an on-screen credit stating “Based on the works of Phillip K. Dick.” This guy is up there with Emily Dickinson and William Shakespeare in terms of source material for Hollywood movies that actually work and make money. Let’s give the man his due.

I think you mean Harlan Ellison. But you're right that Hollywood would be lost without the influence of PKD. Blade Runner alone influenced the look of dark cinema from 1982 on.
