Dexter prequel

Wonder if this will impact him possibly returning to Scream 7. Not that that's a foregone conclusion, but it's something the fans want and he's supposedly in talks for. Because it seems like they're wanting to start both projects sooner rather than later. Maybe it'd diminish his Scream role? Down to an opening kill appearance? Because maybe he only ever really wanted to do one movie in the series, the supposed closer, and a throwaway line in each 5 and 6 doesn't necessarily change that. Also, while I'll watch both, I'm not necessarily convinced either project should happen, at least not in such ways. I thought the Dexter revival, if not perfect, was enjoyable and offered a satisfying ending (while I didn't love the original's ending, I didn't have such hate for it either). And Scream 7, always excited for another Scream, especially with Neve Campbell. But the rumors of the time jump, of one or more of her kids being the killer, and of them trying to do a Halloween trilogy copycat, just not thrilled at those things
