credited for singing in Enchanted? I know it's only a verse, but people have been credited for less. And from that little snippet, he has a really nice voice. Why didn't he sing with the cast of Grey's? He says he has no voice, but clearly he can carry a tune.

Allegedly he said then the musical episode was a mistake and refused to do so.

He actually has quite the background as a singer. His early movies featured that a lot (before his voice broke from a tween's) Not sure how he would sound now but I agree that he's not bad.
