He didn't get the ending he deserved

On the beginning of Christina's last episode there was a collage of her best moments at the beginning.
Why didn't they make something like that for Derek too on the funeral episode?
Also Nina Dobrev left The Vampire diaries
Everybody was grieving, the cast , the media
Every character got to say goodbye in the last episode
Derek left so unexpectedly
No closure
Also he didn't even die heroically
He did his good did and then he died out of stupidity
Because he was checking his phone in the middle of the rode and the other doctors sucked!
And the fact that he wanted to do so much more with his life and he didn't get the chance to do them?
So sad
Derek didn't deserve this ending
At least he should die happy or smth!
It's pretty obvious that there is something shady going on there and I really don't like it
