Is he going to have a bigger role in Marvel

So far the The Collector has only been in 2 movies and they also been minor roles. Are they just building his character up, or is he just going to be doing cameos?

I thought he was going to be in the next AVENDURES movie but now I'm not so certain. Seems like they were building The Collector up -- but now that his museum has been destroyed ... who knows.
