Charles Manson

As much as I love his acting and his character on Lost, I still can't help but see Manson every time I see him. If you haven't seen the 2004 Helter Skelter TV movie you should check it out. He got way into the role... spent months even sleeping with Manson's voice playing through headphones. The DVD has a video of him practicing the role at home... he does it so well it's creepy.

I realize this post is about a year old, but I agree. I just found out that he did the Helter Skelter remake, and now I'm wondering whether he really reminds me of Manson or if I just caught some of the show on TV.

I've been a big fan of his work since STM but never noticed the resemblance. Just saw "Rescue Dawn" tonight which I didn't even know he was in and I kept thinking, "Wow, is that completely Manson!" Then he was so scarily thin I thought he also needs to play Jesus. I think even ol' hunger strike Bale must've coveted how emaciated Davies got for that one.
